Music: The Cranberries - No Need to Argue

I remember the time when I first herd The Cranberries back in the 90s, it was through an old PC game/EP titled Doors and Windows I did not care for the band I generally care about the interactivity part of the CD, because in my 5 year old mind everything that I could click is a game to me, win or loose, its all game to me, but I do remember watching one of the clips in the game that includes a video clip when they played on Woodstock 94 and the song from that clip was Zombie, I can't remember I liked the song or not, fast forward a tad, when I used to listen to the radio to fall asleep to, I remember hearing that song again and I ended up liking the song along with the song Dreams, Ode to My Family and so on.

I have picked this CD up at my local Goodwill and I think to myself, oh hey, lets give this one a spin, right away they kicked off this album with Ode to My Family one of there pretty well known song, it is not really my favorite but I 'll take it or leave it none the less. The next two songs I will have to say they are pretty ok songs, its nothing memorable but it is something nice to cruise along to, then we get to Zombie, arguably there most well known song, I will say this song definitely got the alternative edge with the chugging of the heavy guitar, I would say the main reason why they got some attention from the alternative crowd...or just generally for the American audience with there obsession with anything with loud guitars (hey, it was the 90s, it means ether you get a guitar or get the fuck out).

Now this is where the album starts falling apart, I mean its not terrible by any means, they are good at there own right, its just there not that memorable, its not something you would blast to while your driving on the highway, they are good, but seems like its something you would chill to, bring in some weed and maybe bring a buddy and just relax. I guess the only problem I have and its just my opinion and I may sound like an idiot, but my point is, that its not a car album...you know what I mean?

Overall, its not good, its not bad, its just...in the middle, its an average album at best, maybe its not my kind of music, but hey I least I tried, and I gave my honest opinion, does that make us all winners?
